PHII's Alberta Certification Course is 120-Hours and contains 20 in-depth lessons covering all major components and systems you'll evaluate during a home inspection. Topics include site conditions, grounds and grading, exterior and structural elements, roofing, plumbing, electrical systems, attics, interior components, bathrooms and kitchens, basements and crawlspaces, HVAC systems, and garages and carports. In addition to technical training, the course also provides guidance on how to build and operate a successful home inspection business.

The course includes interactive flashcards and quizzes designed to help you practice and reinforce the objectives of each lesson. You can revisit and review the course material at any time, and you're free to retake lessons and quizzes as often as needed until you've fully mastered the content. Once you pass the final exam, you'll receive your home inspector certificate. After completing any additional provincial requirements, you'll be fully prepared to begin your career as a home inspector.
